As the final Bag Day came upon us, we’ve had ups and downs with the robot just like any other year. The challenges were difficult but we triumphed over them. The Robot SuperMOEva got in its bag around 10:30 p.m. that night. Now we wait for our FIRST Competition at Westtown High School and our first official look at the field. We’re ready for you Deep Space!

Robot Name Reveal 2018!
Week 4 into the build season yet no robot completely finished as of yet, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t have a name for it. Every year, students submit a name for the robot and put all the submissions into a vote. This year, we, the media team, wanted to present the robot name to the rest of the team in a creative way. Check out our YouTube Video on the entire experience by clicking here. We won’t post any spoilers here. Hope you enjoy it!

GO MOE!
Engineering Your Tomorrow
On Saturday, our girls went to Conrad High School for Engineering Your Tomorrow, an event that inspires girls to go into STEM fields. They guided the young girls to try out hands on driving of ToMOEhawk.
“We went to encourage the girl scouts to go into robotics and that girls can do anything guys can do”, says Julia Larock.
We are very proud of our team volunteers for raising awareness on creating more job equality in STEM fields, MOE, and FIRST.
