CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010!!!

Championships 2010MOE went to the 2010 Championships in Atlanta, Georgia and had an amazing time! After one and a half days of hard qualifying, we were picked for the 7th alliance on the Galileo Field. MOE made it as far as the quarterfinals in Galileo before we were eliminated. Thanks to teams Krunch and Shark Attack for a fantastic alliance! We were definitely the most spirited alliance! Also, a big shout out to Miss Daisy (team 341) who won NATIONAL CHAIRMAN'S AWARD!!!! We all had a great season and we'll see you next year!

Philadelphia Regional 2010!

MOE played hard at the Philadelphia regional, earning first place for the third year running, in an alliance led by Miss Daisy (341), with the Positronic Panthers (486). see our
Philadelphia Regional page.
Celebration

MOE had a fanatastic time at the regional competition at Philly, and had managed to snag first place in an alliance led by the top ranked team Miss Daisy (341), and partnered with the Positronic Panthers. We originally had received 5th place in the ranking, even after some pretty unlucky events (just ask anyone about the 15 penalty match).

MOEmentum was tipped twice, not including the time we got flipped all the way over on our back, and Miss Daisy tipped onto its side once. The Panthers responded quickly and after some pretty impressive teamwork they successfully managed to right our robot and Miss Daisy's. Through their superior offensive play, Miss Daisy managed to win the match in which we had flipped all the way over, in what was a very thrilling, competitive, and somewhat frightening match. Not only did the alliance win, but MOE also won the Quality Award! We had a great time and would like to thank the city of Philadelphia for hosting us! Our Philly Regional page is still under construction, but in the meantime, see MOE presenting awards to other teams at Philadelphia!

Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration

CozMOE delivers the proclamationMOE robotics played an interesting part of the ceremony at the Official Delaware MLK Day celebration. Our robot CozMOE presented the official proclamation to Governor Jack Markell.

With the thousands of students that came to the Delaware Riverfront, it was truly an exciting event. We were there to support programs in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). Governor Markell's executive order is meant to do just that.
