MOE University Logo Rube Goldberg MachineEvery year, the MOE mentors hold a series of courses for new and old students alike. This year MOE U took the 2006 robot TerMOEnator and refurbished and upgraded the robot to train and teach people how a robot is built. Although in previous years the teams needed to design and build a machine a Rube Goldberg machine that dispenses PEZ in 10 steps while meeting the certain material requirements and rules. Kirstin Shilkitus, Dean of MOE University According to Kirstin Shilkitus, the Dean of MOE University, returning students are encouraged to lead as possible. This is as much a part of their development as in the robot work itself.

Design and Optimization of a Pit Cart Using 3D CAD Software

This session will explain the design process and advantages of the pit, which can be used by FIRST teams to design their own pit carts, adapt the software for other uses, like robot design, and improve their own design process.
