Mechanical Team

22 students, 1 robot

Without our mechanical team, our robot would not exist. During build season, it's even subdivided into several other teams each targeting a specific area of the robot. Making up the majority of MOE, they build the robot from scratch using their own sweat, blood, and tears. They do all the hands-on dirty work - but of course they have fun too! Enter our lab area, and you're sure to be greeted with the sounds of clanking, whirring, and cutting along with chatter and laughter.

When asked the purpose of the team, a representative replied with, "To build the best robot possible." Their goals this year are "to make an efficient robot that plays the game well and scores the most points." Their subteam described in one word is "Cohesive." They must be in order to get all 22 students and 10 mentors to work together efficiently!
