Job Fair

The Duel on the Delaware Job Fair consists of booths (8-15) with representatives from local companies who are hiring employees. The fair is a perfect opportunity for students and adults to talk with company representatives and learn what opportunities exist and how to apply. Feel free to advertise this (a flyer will be forthcoming) and tell those in the job hunt to bring their resumes. Companies like DuPont, Siemens, JC Penney, and Boeing are currently registered to attend.
If attending teams know of other companies who are hiring and who might like booth space to showcase their company and positions, please have them contact John Larock.

Success Won't Wait Book Drive

Continue to build up that pile of books to donate to Success Won't Wait. The field is wide open to give to a great charity and rid the house of some books! In the past, we have donated as many as 7 tons of books at one Duel event. Let's see if we can beat that goal!
Teams donating the most books by weight will win a trophy and gift card prize. Please consider supporting literacy programs by donating books. It is a great way to focus your team on a project and to help the community at the same time.
The following types of books are not accepted - encyclopedias, magazines, textbooks.
For more information on where these books eventually end up, please check out the Success Won't Wait website.

first Tech Challenge "Bowled Over" Scrimmage

This season's FTC game has been announced! "Bowled Over" is sure to be a fun and exciting addition to FTC challenges. We will have an official "Bowled Over" playing field for FTC teams to use to improve their robot designs. Space for FTC teams is limited. Please contact Joe Perrotto if you wish to register for an FTC play-day slot. See the "Bowled Over" game animation here.
