These aspects are the criteria for the various awards that MOE distributes:

Gracious Professionalism

Find out how teams assist other teams and their members in solving problems, or in lending them parts or tools.

Out of the Box Thinking

Using unique and different ways of thinking to build, display and operate for the robot and as a team.

Best Pit

What pit looks the best as far as utility, organization, cleanliness, functionality or just looks really cool.

Having the Most Fun

Check for team members having fun in the stands and in the pit. Not just showing spirit, but really enjoying comradely in the pits and in the stands.

Best Autonomous

What teams robot scores the most points in autonomous mode.

Unique Design

How unique is the design function of the robot? Does it do something differently from other robots that helps it outperform them, such as having a superior kicker

Judges Award

This is given to a team that does something special during the course of an event that really captures the eyes of our award team. This award is not always given out This is a "Wow, that team deserves something special for what they are doing or just did!"
