MOE at the 2007 FIRST Championship Event

We arrived via plane on a cloudy Wednesday
afternoon. Some of the students on the team visted the Georgia Aquarium,
while others relaxed at the hotel. The next few days were a blur of matches
and spirit. Although we were picked to join an alliance to compete in the
final rounds at the Curie field, we did not advance to Einstein. The team
was amazed by the announcers during the weekend, and we were able to see
videos of the future of robotics. Finally, it was time for the Chairman's
Award to be announced. We waited anxiously as the decription of the Chairman's
Award was delivered: "You can almost believe they really can work miracles."
It was announced that we finally won!

award for having outstanding uniforms! |
